HEALTH & SAFETY

Ocean21 Offshore prides itself as a company dedicated to the health, safety and welfare of its personnel and those who work within the wider frame work of the company.

The company insists that health & safety to be top priority in all working activities conducted by the company. It recognises that the management safety is good business practice which, with proper controls, will contribute positively to its efficiency and operational success.

Ocean21 Offshore accepts both legal and moral obligations towards its work force and will continue to maintain to the best of its ability, a safe and healthy working environment for all employees.

To ensure that this policy is implemented in its entirely, the company has produced health, safety and emergency procedures that detail the company’s “SMS” Safety Management System as well ass personnel and training requirements. The company places a fundamental requirement upon the directors, line management and field supervisor to ensure that all personnel under their care are aware of and adhere to Ocean21 Offshore Safety Systems.

ENVIRONMENT

Environmental control has always been important within the scope and control of our projects.

Ocean21 Offshore will make the resources available and perform all necessary actions to protect the environment by seeking to minimize the environmental impact of project activities. In setting this goal, the company will ensure compliance with all local and national environment regulations and directives.

Ocean21 Offshore will assess design and work procedures to minimize discharges of waste and ensure that environmentally safe methods of disposal are used. The BATNEEC (Best Available Technique Note Entailing Excess Cost) principles shall be adopted to ensure all design and work practice are environmentally friendly.

The environmental implications of activities for which Ocean21 Offshore or its sub-contractors and suppliers have responsibility shall be assessed. This shall include thee valuation of the opportunity for the prevention of pollution and conservation of resources.
